After her young daughter and husband are brutally murdered by a child soldier, the young doctor Stella joins a secret league of women who accompany her on her path of revenge. Years later, when she tracks down the killer, who works as a taxi driver in Boston, she makes a drastic decision that will change her life.
JOHN OLUWOLE ADEKOJE is a graduate of Humboldt State University with an MFA in dramatic writing and an MA in film production. He is a Kennedy Center national award winner: ACTF-Lorraine Hansberry Award for Playwriting for the play STREETHAWKER and the 2006 Roxbury Film Festival Award for Emerging Local Filmmakers for the documentary STREET SOLDIERS, which screened at Le Festival du Film Panafricain (Cannes) and Festival des Films du Monde (Montréal), among others. His first feature-length film, KNOCKAROUND KIDS, was screened at the BronzeLens Film Festival (Atlanta), among others, where it was nominated for Best Feature Film. His short play LOVE JONES was produced at the Boston Fringe Festival – Company One, Boston Theatre Marathon and was the winner of the Strawberry One Act Festival in Hollywood. In 2017, ADEKOJE and his producing partner Miranda formed ADEkoje Jagun Fly Productions.
