Film Program in Advance:

BETWEEN US AND SILENCE

Brenda Akele Jorde & David Simon Groß
Germany 2025 | Original Version with English Subtitles I 14 min
In the presence of the directors

The film follows Yara, a young woman from Mozambique, who dares to break the silence around her fragile mental health. Speaking about mental health is often taboo in Mozambique. By confronting her own psyche, Yara reconnects with herself and discovers an inner strength that can inspire others.
