MOURAMANI by Mamadou Tour\u00e9 from 1953 is considered the first film ever made by a Guinean director, of which, however, no copies seem to exist anymore. Has anyone seen the film at all? Equipped with a video camera, microphone and headphones, the young filmmaker Thierno Souleymane Diallo sets off in search of traces in his home country, interviews contemporary witnesses and thus goes deeper and deeper into a time travel through Guinea’s fascinating, forgotten film history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THIERNO SOULEYMANE DIALLO was born in Guinea and studied at the ISAG art school in Dubr\u00e9ka, Guinea. In 2012, he moved to Niger to study documentary film. He then went on to study documentary film in Senegal. After making several short films during his studies, he realised the two medium-length documentaries UN HOMME POUR MA FAMILLE and NO METI SIFADHE. AU CIMETIERE DE LA PELLICULE is his first feature-length film.\u2003<\/p>\n\n\n\n
