Ghana in the 1980s: Atswei and her husband Boi are on their way to their hometown to give birth to their first child. By a chain of unfortunate circumstances the couple missed the only train that runs once a week from the outskirts to Akete. Heavy packed, Atswei and Boi search for other transport options through the Ghanaian outback: A crazy trip against time begins …


PETER KOFI SEDUFIA (* 1985) is a graduate of the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) in the Ghanaian capital Accra. His debut film KETEKE has appeared at numerous festivals on the African continent (including Burundi, Nigeria, Egypt) and recently caused a sensation at the New York African Film Festival in 2019. His current film SIDECHIC GANG (2018) is nominated for 5 African Movie Academy Awards.
